Aoi Character Story 3 - Aoi and His Admired Artist

Summary:
”Aoi goes shopping for rice with Yamato. Suddenly, a monitor on the street begins playing a new song from Aoi’s favourite band.” 

Location: Downtown

Aoi: Thanks for coming shopping with me, Yamato. Since we bought rice, I wouldn't have been able to carry it by myself. 

Yamato: No problem. Carrying rice is a very important task.

Aoi: Now then, I wonder what we should have for dinner today...?

Yamato: ...

Aoi: ...Why did you stop all of a sudden? Are you thinking of freshly cooked rice?

Yamato: Look what that monitor on the intersection is playing...

Aoi: Hm? This rhythm...it's the new song from that ska band!

Yamato: Their new song is pretty good.

Aoi: I agree. The MV is great too! ...Look, look! Did you see that?!

Yamato: Sorry, I missed it.

Aoi: You didn't see it?! The trombonist is just the coolest!

Yamato: Oh, ahh...I see now.

Yamato: Eh, what...? You barely reacted?

Yamato: No, I was just surprised by your sudden loudness.

Aoi: W-Was I really that loud?

Yamato: Yeah. Some people in the crowd turned around and made a face.

Aoi: No, I didn’t mean to...! Aghh, this is so embarrassing! Don’t tell Futa and Misaki!

Yamato: You really like that trombonist, huh?

Aoi: I sure do, I look up to him! Just look at his attention-grabbing way of playing!

Aoi: I really wish I could perform like that

Yamato: I see. That’s surprising.

Aoi: Well, I suppose my characteristics are quite different.

Aoi: I mean, we already have Futa, don’t we? If I change too much it’ll mess with the band’s dynamic.

Yamato: Don’t you hate that? I thought you wanted to perform how you’d like...

Aoi: What’s important is that we’re a coordinated band! ...Well I probably wouldn’t go as far as to say “coordinated.”

Aoi: I believe I have a role to play in Furai. If I’m putting my all into fulfilling that role then...I’m doing what I like.

Yamato: ...Furai is important to you.

Aoi: Yeah, isn’t that obvious?

Yamato: ...How honest.

Aoi: I’m always honest, after all! Anyways, let’s watch that MV when we get home!

Aoi: We’ll have to watch what you missed, Yamato!

Yamato: Yeah, of course.

Tadaomi Character Story 2 - Tadaomi and Banri

Summary:
"Tadaomi calls out to Banri who is out clothes shopping. The two decide to continue shopping together."

 Location: Shopping district 

Banri: I told you not to worry so much... I'm doing just fine over here!

Banri: I'm making sure to eat and bathe everyday! I haven't been tricked by any bad adults or sucked into some new religion! 

Tadaomi: Um, excuse me. Do you have a moment?

Banri: Eh? Ah, sorry I'm on the phone. Someone's trying to talk to meー

Tadaomi: May I speak to you if you have the time?

Banri: Ah, I'm on the phone right now.... no, well, fine. Wait a second!

Banri: No it's fine! They're not a weirdo...probably! I-I'm gonna hang up now! See ya, Aniki!

Tadaomi: I apologize for interrupting your call. Ah, you're Shiroishi from Argonavis, right?

Banri: That's right... how'd you know my name? ...Listen, if this is about some weird invitation then I don't want it, okay?

Tadaomi: I'm Kurama Tadaomi from εpsilonΦ.

Banri: ...Are you in a band performing at LRFes by chance?

Tadaomi: Yes.

Banri: Damn...sorry for being suspicious of you. Anyway, did you need something from me?

Tadaomi: I was wondering if we could shop together?

Banri: Eh? W-With me?

Tadaomi: I want to buy some clothing but there are so many shops that I don't know which ones would be good to look in...

Banri: I'm actually out clothes shopping too. Oh well! I don't mind if you tag along.

Tadaomi: Excellent. Thank you.

Banri: Shopping in Tokyo costs so much... buying just one T-shirt already put me over budget...

Banri: Hmm, I think I've gone into the wrong shop. Sorry, Tadaomi-kun. I don't know this place very well.

Tadaomi: Don't worry, it's fine.

Banri: Ah, the jacket that mannequin is wearing is pretty nice. It looks like it'd suit you.

Tadaomi: You think so?

Banri: Those pants on display look stylish too! Ah, that shirt is nice as well!

Tadaomi: I'll buy them then. 

Banri: Ehh!?

Tadaomi: Shiroishi-san, please tell me if you see something you like. I'd like to give you a present to show my gratitude.

Banri: Y-You don't have to do that! "There's no such thing as a free lunch," as my brother always says!

Tadaomi: Brother? Weren't you speaking to him on the phone earlier?

Banri: My brother is a dairy farmer in Hokkaido. For some reason he's been calling me a lot.

Banri: He tells me to eat properly and to not get involved with weird guys in Tokyo. He's sooo annoying.

Tadaomi: You seem close. I don't have a brother so I don't have anyone to speak like that with.

Banri: So you're an only child, Tadaomi-kun. To be honest I'm a little jealous.

Banri: But only a little. I have 5 siblings so we're always fighting over food or a place to sleep. 

Banri: I don't mind taking care of the little ones, I enjoy how lively it is everyday, but sometimes I find myself wanting a little alone time.

Tadaomi: ...I'm jealous of you. There's never anyone by my side.

Banri: Ah...

Tadaomi: I'm going to go purchase these clothes. Excuse me, may I have this?

Banri: I had a great time too. ...Y'know, we should go out again sometime.

Tadaomi: You mean that...?
