You and Goryo both seemed uncomfortable…it was a little insensitive of me.

Reon: Oh, please don’t worry about that.

Live House Manager: Anyway, how are things with Gyro? Everything going smoothly?

Reon: Well…I can’t say I’d use the word “smoothly” to describe how things have been going.

To be honest, I don’t really get along with our vocalist and there’s a lot of trouble within the band.

But despite all that, I have no doubt that Gyro is a band that will reach the top of the world.

Live House Manager: Wow…I’m a little surprised. It sounds like you like Gyro a lot then.

Reon: Well…I like Gyro’s “music”.

Live House Manager: You have a lot of faith in that vocalist, don’t you?

Reon: …Huh? What makes you say that?

Live House Manager: I don’t think you’d feel that way if you didn’t have faith in your band mates.

Reon: Well…it may seem like that but our vocalist is absolutely impossible to deal with!

Live House Manager: I still have some work to attend to here so I’m not returning to Sapporo until next week.

Reon: Manager! I’m sorry for not keeping in contact. You’ve come all the way to Tokyo, huh?

Live House Manager: Yeah, I’ve got a job to do, but I wanted to see you guys too.

Reon: “You guys” ?

Yuto: Yo! You’re here too, Reon!

Yuto: Neither have you! You seriously helped us out so much back in the day.

A lot of them are fans of Misono. Well, even back then a lot of them waited around for him after a performance.

Yuto: That’s for sure. Reon was popular in high school before he even joined a band.

Reon: That’s not true.

Live House Manager: Regardless, you two are amazing. You’re seriously out here performing in such a huge festival.

Back then, I never would have thought that such close friends would split apart.

Bassist: No, seriously! Our guitarist’s heart would break if he saw how good you are!

Drummer: I bet he could nail this without even having to practice anymore, right?

Reon: (What’s with this hospitable atmosphere…? Not in a million years would Gyro ever be like this...)

Vocalist: By the way, we cover a lot of Western songs. Do you think you’d be able to play any of them?

Reon: I've actually been practicing a few of those. Here, I'll show you.

Bassist: Wow...amazing...your skills are insane!!

Reon: Ah, it's nothing really...

Vocalist: I feel so excited! C’mon, I wanna sing already!

Drummer: Alright, we’ll do it all together this time!

Yuto: C’mon now, don’t be so distant! I thought we were teammates back in the day!?

Regardless, I guess Reon’s here to lend a helping hand! He hasn’t been causing you any trouble, has he?

Vocalist: Of course not! If anything, he’s really helped us out by joining us as a support.

Yuto: Ah, that’s just like Reon! ...Although, it is a little strange.

Reon: Why’s that?

Yuto: Well, you’re a pretty stubborn guy. It’s rare for you to help out other bands like this.

Reon: Well...these are special circumstances.

Yuto: What an evasive answer...well, whatever!

Playing alongside Nayuta and the others must be pretty exhausting, right? Sometimes you’ve just gotta let go and have fun for once!

Eh...it's not about your band, is it? Has there been a conflict in opinions amongst musicians …!?

There's one of us that takes advantage of where we live and splurges on sweets, another guy that spends on ingredients for making his specialty sara udon...

A guy that practically chugs down rice like it's water, and a guy who binge eats to cope with the stress of dealing with the others...

Before I realized it, it was already the middle of the month and we had almost nothing left to buy food...

Kenta:
I see, that certainly seems troublesome.

Yuto:
Those guys sure eat a lot...

Kohei:
Hey, by chance... do you know any good part-time jobs? I'm pretty good at manual labor.

Yuto:
With Fes so close, don't you think it's better to stay away from jobs where you could get injured?

Kenta:
I agree. Actually, it might not be a part-time job but I've got some potentially promising news for you.

Kohei:

I was talking about it with Goryo just now. Take a look at this. They were handing them out earlier.

A flyer...? "Kamogawa University Promotion of Culture Contest" ...

Yuto:
It's for thanking students for their cultural contributions but...it'll also be like crowning the winners of Mr and Mrs Campus.

Look at the prize for the "First Year Male Student" category.

Let's see...the prize is a trophy and...a coupon for free food from the cafeteria...and lasts for half a year!?

Aoi: Since it's a school festival, I went for something that would grab everyone's attention. That's why I decided to put a major cover song in.

Yamato: I want to make sure I have this drilled into my brain. Could we go through it once more from the top?

Misaki: Heh, I like where your heads at, Yamato! Alright, let's do this!

(Bzz! Bzz!)

Misaki: Huh, what with this phone's timing!?

Kohei: Sorry...it's from the executive committee of the school festival. We weren't supposed to have a meeting today but...

Kohei: Hello, this is Hayasaka. How can I help you?

Executive A: We're truly sorry! The two of us are both in charge of sending out offers however it seems there's been some miscommunication...

Kohei: Now then, what should we do about this...is there a way to increase the amount of bands performing?

Executive B: We have other programs so...I'm afraid we can't add anymore performances...

Banri: So there's only one spot and two bands huh... well if this is how it is then we've got no choice!

Misaki: Oi, you wanna make a bet to see who wins the spot!?

Banri: Don't make such a big deal of it! If we perform together as a battle of the bands sort of thing then we'll be able to keep to the time limit.

Banri: On top of that, it'll be good publicity for when both of our bands perform at LRFes.

Yuto: I see, great idea, Banri! Let's go with that! What you say, Furai?

Kohei: Sounds good, I've got not problem with it. What're your thoughts, Misaki?

Misaki: I guess...it's fine but...

Banri: You got an issue with something?

Misaki: No, it's just... we put a lot of work into practicing our setlist... and now we won't get to perform it.

Executive A: We're very sorry about that...but, we'd be extremely grateful if you were to perform in a battle of the bands!

Kohei: Alright. Well, we should start working on it. Before anything, we should get our bands together to discuss this.

Yuto: If that's the case then why don't we meet up for a joint practice session?

Banri: That's a great idea! It'll bring down the studio fees too!
