Mashu: Oh, Hibi-kun! Ohamashu☆ Hey, so what time do you wanna meet up for the movie on Monday?

I want to make sure I’ve got time to buy some popcorn and a soda so I was thinking we could meet up a little early ♪

It starts at eleven so why don’t we meet at ten~? Oh, and our meet up spot will be in front of the cinemaー

Hibiku: Okay, stop.

When did I agree to go see a movie with you?

Mashu: What!? We talked about it yesterday! Don’t tell me you already forgot? 

Hibiku: ...Sigh. We did speak about it but I never said I would go with you.

Mashu: What, no way! Hibi-kun, I could’ve sworn you said you’d come with me!?

Did I get the wrong idea or something!?

Hibikun: Yes, it seems there was a misunderstanding along the way...

Mashu: S-Seriously!? But I was so excited to go…!

Hey, Hibi-kun! I already said it yesterday but we should definitely go see A Bizarre Love Triangle of Romance and Desire!

Hibiku: That’s a romance film, right? Isn’t it based off of a shojo manga?

Mashu: Yep! It’s a manga about a super intense love triangle between three high schoolers! It’s Yumenomiya Lara’s masterpiece~!

Hibiku: I see...do you read much shojo manga, Mashu?

Mashu: I do! Reading it helps me get my love points up! It’s like the secret to popularity is hidden in them~.

That’s why I borrow some from my big sis from time to time!

Hibiku: Ahh, I see...

Mashu: If I want to become popular with the ladies, I must first understand the heart of a woman. Shojo manga is my bible☆

Among the shojos I’ve read,  A Bizarre Love Triangle of Romance and Desire would have to be one of the best~.

That’s why I really wanna go see the movie too! I can already feel my love meter going down!!

Hibiku: ...It seems you really want to become popular with girls, Mashu.

Mashu: Yep! I really want to!!!!

Are you saying you don’t, Hibi-kun?

Hibiku: I’m...not particularly interested in that kind of stuff.

Mashu: Really!? But you’re already so well-liked! What a waste.

Hibi-kun, you’re super nice! And you’re a really good listener too ☆

Talking with you puts my mind at ease. It’s like taking a bath!

My big sis says that a good listener is a good friend!

Hibiku: I-I see...

Mashu: Y’know, I love girl’s smiles~. Just seeing them makes you feel full of life, right!?

So everyday I do my best and work hard to become more and more popular so that I can make girls all over the world smile!

Hibiku: Haha...I suppose joining the concert band was a part of your plan to gain popularity too then?

Mashu: Ah! Yes, yesyesyes! That’s right, Hibi-kun!

I joined the band to hear girls squealing over me but I’ve yet to hear even a peep!

Even though we’ve got an official fan club, the clamour of girls is nothing compared to what Tsugu-kun-senpai or Ijeong-kun-senpai get...

I play percussion so I thought I’d stand out on stage~. Should I try showing off more!?

Hibiku: Hmm, rather than trying to stand out, perhaps you’d be more successful focusing on improving your skills instead…?

Hibiku: Mashu, the bell’s gone. You should go sit down before the maths teacher arrives.

Mashu: Oh no! I got sidetracked!

Alright, Hibi-kun! We’re definitely going to the movies together on Sunday, right!?

I’m excited to watch A Bizarre Love Triangle of Romance and Desire but I’m looking forward to watching it with you too!

I want to get along with girls but I also want to get closer with you too, Hibi-kun.

Hibiku: ...

Mashu: If we go see A Bizarre Love Triangle of Romance and Desire, I’ll be able to study romance and get closer with you at the same time! It’s killing two birds with one stone―

Maths Teacher: Come on, Izumitani. Stop begging Mito and hurry along to your seat.

Mashu: Ah...but, in the manga it said that the secret to persuasion is never giving up!

So I won’t! I won’t give up!

Maths teacher: Is that so? Doesn’t that book also say that no one likes pushy men?

Mashu: Huh, Hibi-kun, was I being pushy!?

Hibiku: No...ahaha...

Maths Teacher: Alright now, the lesson is beginning. 

Mashu: Hibi-kun! Have a think about Sunday, alright!?
