Reon: Well done everyone.

Vocalist: You too! You’ve been a huge help today!

Reon: No no...it was fun for me too.

Bassist: Sorry guys! I messed up during the second song!

Vocalist: Don’t sweat it. I wasn’t perfect either, y’know? I got the timing wrong in the last song.
 

Drummer: Yeah, that part is hard to get right.

Reon: ...Huh? Uh...you’re not...mad?

Vocalist: Mad? Why would we be?

Reon: What about the mistakes and the incorrect timing…?

Drummer: It’s no big deal. It’s already over so there’s no use fretting over it.

Vocalist: We’ll just learn from our mistakes. Alright, let’s head to that after party!

Reon: Yeah...

(Right...that’s how it is here…)

Miyuki: Nice job, Reon-kun!

Reon: ...Miyuki-san.

Miyuki: You did great! I actually came to watch you in secret. Did I surprise you?

Reon: I already knew. I could see you from the stage.

Miyuki: Ahh, you already caught me. Haha!

Anyway, aren’t you going to the after party? Did they…not invite you?

Reon: I turned them down! I just didn’t feel like going.

 

Miyuki: I see. So then, what did you think? How was it being a support?

Reon: ...It was fun. I didn’t feel nervous, so it all went smoothly.

Miyuki: Yeah, it definitely seemed like a lot of fun.

Reon: Even when they made a mistake, they didn’t condemn each other. They would just brush it off.

 

Miyuki: But that's good, right? You don’t seem to be speaking highly of it.

Reon: It’s nice but...only for bands that want to focus on having fun.

If...you want to improve and aim for a professional level, you can’t be that forgiving.

If it were Gyro...that wouldn’t be accepted.

Miyuki: Oh? Are you saying you prefer Gyro’s way of doing things more?

Reon: I’m not saying whether it’s better or not. It’s just a different approach.

Miyuki: Hmm~...but isn’t our approach the reason we’re always at each other's throats? 

Like...the one you had before, Reon-kun?

Reon: You’re right. It’s a real pain.

But...I’d hate delivering a half-assed performance even more.

Miyuki: Haha, that sounds like something Nayuta would say.

  

Reon: Shut up...do you disagree, Miyuki-san?

 

 Miyuki: I do.

 

 My worst nightmare would just be putting on a lame performance!

Reon: ...Isn’t that the same thing?

 

 Miyuki: Ahh, this is actually a huge relief!

 

Reon: What is?

 

Miyuki: I was worried that you’d have more fun playing with that other band and would leave us for them.

  

Reon: Huh...did you really think that?

 

 If I did that, Nayuta would replace me. That’d be a worst-case scenario. 

 

 I’ll… never let that happen…!

Ryo: Oh, it’s Reon. Welcome back

Kenta: Well done helping them out. How did it go?

 
Reon: It was no big deal.

 

Miyuki: It was super cool. He really lived up to Gyroaxia’s name. 

 

Ryo: Really? I wish I had seen it.

 
Reon: It wasn’t anything special. 

 
Nayuta: Oi. How long are you lot going to keep talking? We have work to do.

 

Reon: ...I have to talk to you first, Nayuta.

 

Nayuta: Make it quick.

 

Reon: What happened to my part in the new song?

 

Nayuta: Satozuka should have it prepared by now. We’ll work it into the song after this.

 

Reon: I’ve already perfected it. Let me show you.

 

Miyuki: Did you work on it while you were helping those guys out?

 

Nayuta: You think you’ll be able to please me with something made in your free time?

 

Reon: It wasn’t free time. I was thinking about it all throughout rehearsal too. Even...during the live I substituted in. 

 

Nayuta: ...I’ll give you one chance. Then I’ll make my decision.

Miyuki: It’s fantastic!? It fits in perfectly!

 

Ryo: Yeah...it’s good. It felt like all our sounds became one.

 

Kenta: What do you think, Nayuta?

 

Nayuta: ...It’s fine. We’ll go with this.

 

Reon: ...That’s all?

 

Nayuta: What? Did you need something else?

 

Miyuki: Even Nayuta seemed to be surprised, don’t you think?

 

You should praise him more! Say something like, “Well done, Reon-kun!”

 

Reon: As if!

 

Kenta: In that case, what should we do with the part I made…?

Ryo: Hm~, this feels like the Gyroaxia I know.

 
Reon: (He’s right...this is the norm in Gyro...

Ryo: Reon, is something wrong?

 

Reon: ...Huh? I’m fine.

 

Ryo: You seem happy.

 

Reon: ...Happy? No way. As usual, being in Gyro is utter torment.

 

Nayuta: Oi, how long do you plan to keep on yabbering? We’re starting.

 

Reon: Alright, I get it.

 

(But...with Gyro, I can aim higher and higher.

 

I’ve made my decision. This is the place that I belong.
