 Location: Practice Studio

Kenta: The guitar was a tad loud, so I simplified the riff to match up with that. What do you think?

Nayuta: That’s fine. The drums and bass will stay as they are.

 

Miyuki: Alright, we’re powering through this!

 
Ryo: At this rate, it seems we’ll have the new song completed ahead of schedule.

Nayuta: Don’t get ahead of yourself. Since Satozuka’s part has been simplified, Misono’s part will have to be changed around too.

The entire thing will be discarded. It needs to be remade.

Reon: ...Again? ...How many times now have you already changed it?

Nayuta: You think it's necessary to keep track?

Repeat the part that’ll be changed until I decide what needs to be fixed.

Reon: ...Fine.

Miyuki: Ahh~, this’ll definitely take a while...

Ryo: Yeah...good luck, Reon.

Nayuta: Stop. It’s you, Misono.

Reon: But I was just matching up with Kenta-san’s riff...

Nayuta: You’re making excuses. We’re only wasting our time if we continue like this.

Reon: ...Wait.

Nayuta: Satozuka, I'll have you compose Misono’s part too.

Reon: ...I said wait!

Ryo: Reon…?

Miyuki: Ahh...should we take a quick break? This atmosphere isn't great.

Reon: I think I understand what you’re looking for. If you just let me try a few more times...

Nayuta: I don’t care about whether or not you “understand”. All that matters is if you can give me the sound I ask for.

I have no use for anyone that can’t do that. I’ll just find a replacement.

Reon: ...You littleー!!

Miyuki: Hey now, you two! Calm down, alright?

Nayuta: I am calm.

Miyuki: You're making an awfully scary face for someone who claims to be calm!

Ryo: You too, Reon, put your arm down. Your guitar strap will fall off.

Reon: ...Dammit.

Kenta: Arguing like this is a waste of time. Let's leave it here for today.

There’s still some time in our schedule. For now, just give it some thought, Reon.

I’ll think about what to do about your part too...is that alright, Nayuta?

Nayuta: ...Yeah.

Miyuki: You good with that too, Reon-kun?

Reon: ...

Miyuki: Oiii, Reon-kun?

Reon: ...I need to get some air.

Nayuta: “I have no use for anyone that can’t do that. I’ll just find a replacement.”

Reon: Dammit…!

 

Miyuki: That’s gotta be rough, Reon-kun.

 

Reon: ...What do you want?

 

Miyuki: No need to be so cold. I just got worried when you rushed out of the studio all on your own so I came to check on you.

 

Reon: ...Leave me alone.

 

Miyuki: Is what Nayuta said bothering you?

 

Reon: No, not really...

 

Miyuki: Doesn't that guy have something new to complain about everyday? You won’t last long if you let it get to you every time.

 

Reon: ...This isn’t about that.

 

Miyuki: ...Hey, I get it. Sometimes he really hits a nerve.

 

But this isn’t the first time Nayuta's reminded us of how easy it is to find a replacement, so don’t let it bother you too much.
 

Reon: He’ll do it if he really wants to. You realise that, right?

 

Miyuki: Ah~...yeah, I know.

 

Reon: He’s always seen us as something that can just be replaced...

 

How long...how long will we have to keep putting up with this?

 

Miyuki: Yeah...I guess I understand.

 

Reon: ...What?
 

Miyuki:  So then...are you quitting Gyro?

 

Reon: No.

 

Miyuki: Haha, no hesitation.

 

But, y’know, Reon-kun, I wasn’t entirely joking either. There are plenty of other bands out there.

 

With your skills, you’d be in very high demand, Reon-kun.

 

Reon: No, that’s just...

 

Miyuki: Ah, that reminds me! There’s a band I know that’s in urgent need of a support guitarist.

 

Now where could they find an impeccable guitarist~? ...Oh, there’s one! He looks a little dejected but I bet he’s got some real talent.

 

Reon: Don’t get ahead of yourself! I never said I’d do it!

 

Miyuki: Relax, Reon-kun! Relax!

 

Something like this could really help to lift your spirits!

Reon: ...It’s nice to meet you, I’m Misono Reon. I play the rhythm guitar.

Vocalist: You’re a real life saver! We have a live show just around the corner but our guitarist got injured so we’ve been in a real pinch.

 

Bassist: It feels unreal to be having Gyroaxia’s guitarist join us!

 

Reon: ...Thanks.

 

Drummer: So, should we go ahead and start off with a song?

 

Vocalist: Is that alright, Misono-san?

 

Reon: Yeah.

 

(Acting as a support for an unfamiliar band is...definitely a change from what I’m used to.

...I’ll just try and follow their lead.)

Vocalist: Misono-san, your guitar skills are incredible!

 

Reon: Thanks...

Bassist: No, seriously! Our guitarist’s heart would break if he saw how good you are!

Drummer: I bet he could nail this without even having to practice anymore, right?

Reon: (What’s with this hospitable atmosphere…? Not in a million years would Gyro ever be like this...)

Vocalist: By the way, we cover a lot of Western songs. Do you think you’d be able to play any of them?

Reon: I've actually been practicing a few of those. Here, I'll show you.

Bassist: Wow...amazing...your skills are insane!!

Reon: Ah, it's nothing really...

Vocalist: I feel so excited! C’mon, I wanna sing already!

Drummer: Alright, we’ll do it all together this time!

Reon: (Those guys look like they’re having a lot of fun...

No...this is just normal. Back then, I used to be like this too…)

Vocalist: I’m sorry we couldn’t fit in another rehearsal before the live, but I’m sure you’ll be just fine, Misono-san!

Reon: Right.

Yuto: Good morning! I’m here from Argonavis! It’s a pleasure to be working with you all!

Reon: Huh...Yuto!?

Yuto: Ah? Huh, Reon!? What’re you doing here?

Reon: Ah...I’m here as a support.

Yuto: No way! Now I’m even more excited for today's joint live! Good luck!

Bassist: Huh? Do you two know each other?

Reon: Well, we’re old acquaintances...we met in Hokkaido.

Yuto: C’mon now, don’t be so distant! I thought we were teammates back in the day!?

Regardless, I guess Reon’s here to lend a helping hand! He hasn’t been causing you any trouble, has he?

Vocalist: Of course not! If anything, he’s really helped us out by joining us as a support.

Yuto: Ah, that’s just like Reon! ...Although, it is a little strange.

Reon: Why’s that?

Yuto: Well, you’re a pretty stubborn guy. It’s rare for you to help out other bands like this.

Reon: Well...these are special circumstances.

Yuto: What an evasive answer...well, whatever!

Playing alongside Nayuta and the others must be pretty exhausting, right? Sometimes you’ve just gotta let go and have fun for once!

Reon: Fun...right.

Yuto: Ah, looks like rehearsal’s starting soon. Alright, I’ll see ya later!

Reon: Yeah, see you.

Drummer: Our support guitarist for today is joining us from a band that everyone’s been talking about! Please welcome Misono Reon from Gyroaxia!

Vocalist: He’s really on a whole other level from our official members, so we’ve asked him not to outshine us too much today!

Just make sure you look out for Reon-kun’s killer riffs!

Reon: (Compared to when I perform with Gyro...I’m not nervous at all
