 Location: Gyroaxia share house

Ryo: Our next song?

Kenta: Yeah. Lately they've been bringing it up more often...the office is requesting a song that differs from what we've done so far. 

Ryo: Hmm...

Kenta: It sounds easy enough. I suppose they think we'll attract a new audience if we were to make varying types of music. 

Ryo: What did Kenken say back?

Kenta: ”We have no intention of writing songs that way. We only play the songs that Nayuta wants to."

Ryo: Mh, I agree with that.

Kenta: Even so...this is still business. They wouldn't have understood what I wanted to say. That's why I listened to what type of song they were recommending us to make, just in case. 

Ryo: What kind was it?

Kenta: "A pop, catchy, popular kind of song!", is what they said.

Ryo: Ahaha. I see.

Kenta: Nayuta doesn't even listen to the opinions of the office so what would he think of a request like this?

Ryo: Hmm~, I think he'd get all quiet and moody. He'd probably rather write a song way different from this. 

Kenta: You're right. I think so too... Even so, it's not just a new song. This would also have an effect on other things.

Ryo: Mh.

Kenta: Even in everyday life he'd be moody.

Ryo: Mh.

*Sounds of a bass*

Kenta: That's why Nayuta shouldn't make songs in accordance to the office's wishes.

Ryo: Mh.

Kenta: Really, what should I do...

Ryo: Mh.

Kenta: ...Are you listening to me?

Ryo: The sound of the bass is calming, don't you think? The sounds that the strings make releases good feelings. 

*Sound of a bass*

Kenta: You weren't listening... Well, it's fine. Talking to you has helped me get my head in order. But still, I wonder how I should solve this...Ryo, what was that song you were playing just now?

Ryo: I think this is what a, "Pop, catchy, popular kind of song!" would sound like.

Kenta: Could it be...you were actually listening and were able to think of a song?

Ryo: I guess so. I'm not really sure what kind of songs would be popular, though.

Kenta: No...this isn't bad. It has the pop and catchiness to it too at least. Could you play it from the start again?

Ryo: Sureー

*Sound of a bass*

Kenta: It suits Gyro too...

Ryo: I really like Nayuta's music so I guess it rubbed off on me. 

Kenta: ...Ryo, could we work on this together for a bit? I think this song could be the solution I've been looking for.

Ryo: Mh, of course.

(Note: I'm not familiar with music terminology so I apologize if any of this doesn't make sense. Also I recommend reading along with the in-game story since there are some sound effects that are hard to portray over text)

 Location: Gyroaxia share house

Kenta: Alright, I've got an idea for a melody for the song you were playing, Ryo.

Ryo: That was fastー, as expected of Kenken.

Kenta: There's still more work to be done on it. Before we go further, we should add in a guitar. What kind of image do you think the guitar should have?

Ryo: Hmm, maybe...a happy feeling?

Kenta: ...Again, that's a bit abstract.

Ryo: Won't everyone feel happier that way?

Kenta: For now, let's try out a major chord progression....

*Sound of a guitar*

Kenta: How's that?

Ryo: Hmm, something about it is off.

Kenta ...Something's off, huh.

Ryo: It needs to sound happier.

Kenta: ...Could you be more specific?

Ryo: In other words, the happiness will be drained to zero.

Kenta: ...I see. Maybe something more enthusiastic rather than fun...? C to Dm7...G7...

*Sound of a guitar*

Kenta: How was that?

Ryo: Mh, the happiness is growing. Let's try and make the happiness even greater. I'll play too.

Kenta: What will you do for the bass?

Ryo: Make an even greater happiness.

*Sound of a bass and guitar*

Kenta: It gave a surprisingly different impression than from before...

Ryo: Isn't it more enjoyable this way?

Kenta: ...This way definitely leaves more of an impression. 

Ryo: Mh, it's good. I think Reon would like the way it flows. 

Kenta: ...Is that so?

Ryo: For the hook, why don't we try something more fast paced? I think that would be cool.

Kenta: Got it. Let's try and alter the tempo.

Ryo: Yeah yeah. This is the kind of thing that Miyuki likes.

Kenta: However, if we do it like this, it'll be hard to make the melodies go together. 

Ryo: Well, we can change it...like Nayuta.

Kenta: Take liberty, huh....still, it's definitely starting to take shape.

Ryo: You think so? Are you having fun now Kenken?

Kenta: ...Yeah. Somehow...this reminds me of when I first began playing guitar.

Ryo: Mh, that's good. I'm having fun too. When we get to the bridge, let's do something that Kenken likes. Do whatever you want. 

Kenta: Whatever I want...?

Ryo: Yeah.

Kenta: I understand. I'll give it a go. However...how should we finish off the song?

Ryo: Hmm~... I wonder if the song could tell us?
